Die Universitätsstadt Marburg hat rund 80.000 Einwohner und liegt im beschaulichen Mittelhessen. Die Philipps-Universität in Marburg ist die älteste, noch existierende, protestantisch gegründete Universität der Welt und sicherlich mehr als nur einen touristischen Besuch wert. Anschauen könnt ihr euch dieses Bauwerk am Samstag, den 14. November 2009 – zumindest wenn ihr mit genügend Zeit nach Marburg anreist, denn euer Abendprogramm ist ja schon verplant: Ab 22 Uhr findet ihr euch an diesem Tag in den Kult Hallen in der Nähe des Süd-Bahnhofs ein, denn dort findet alle zwei Monate die Rise Of The Machines statt, eine Party die die besten Elemente verschiedenster Styles wie Rhythmic Noise, Industrial, IDM, Power Electronics, Peaktime Techno, Harsh Noise, Breakcore und TBM vereint.
Am 14.11.2009 werden bei der Rise Of The Machines noch ein paar Maschinen mehr aufgefahren, denn wir werden mit 13th Monkey an diesem Abend live zu der Beschallung beitragen.
Und wer weiß, vielleicht sehen wir uns ja auch noch bei der Besichtigung der alten ehrwürdigen Universität.

There are about 80.000 people living in Marburg, which is situated in the middle of Hesse, Germany. The Philipps university of Marburg is the world’s first and oldest Protestant university – and for sure worth more than one visit! You can go on a university sightseeing tour on Saturday, 14th of November 2009 – at least if you come with enough time to Marburg because your evening program is already planned: starting at 10 pm on that day you will have to be at the Kult Hallen (near the southern train station) where every two months the Rise Of The Machines will happen. A party that combines the best elements of different styles like rhythmic noise, industrial, idm, power electronics, peaktime techno, harsh noise, breakcore and tbm.
At the 14th of November even more machines will rise as we – 13th Monkey – will be the live act of the evening.
And perhaps we will meet again at the old university. Remember there should be always time for sightseeing!
